An exceptional original unrestored example that has clearly been cherished and maintained correctly since new.

It is believed that this car had two UK owners until it was recommended to a collector in Brussels in April 1986 by the then Jaguar Drivers Club MK VII Register Secretary Peter Griffiths (letter on file) stating ‘It is in beautiful condition, and has a ‘C’ Type head , so it is quick as well’.

The car was purchased on Mr Griffiths recommendation (sales invoice on file) and remained in Antwerp until 2022.
Initially the car was used sparingly in Belgium with the owner recording the cars trips in a hand written log including entries into Jaguar Drivers Club Holland events (entry cards on file).

Some years later the car was stored underground in Antwerp with the collectors’ other cars until he passed away in 2021. The car was later gifted to a friend of the collector. He retrieved the car from the underground storage and carried out recommissioning on the car over a 12-month period including a hydraulic, brake, coolant, and fuel system overhaul.

The car has never had any rust or bodywork repairs. The interior including woodwork and headlining remain in exceptional original condition with no tears or damage to the leather seats or wear in the carpets. Both factory front door tool kits are original and complete.

Currently registered in the UK with its original UK registration number.
A Jaguar MKVII with such originality and patina such as this are almost impossible to find.
